Constantly evolving in order to improve their performance, transmission systems are extremely complex subassemblies requiring high precision and particularly reliable components.

With several million forged parts per year, Setforge, a subsidiary of Farinia Group, is one of the European leaders in the sector.

Our production range includes a wide variety of shafts and gears for manual, dual-clutch and automatic transmission systems, used on thermal, hybrid and electric engines.

These components are produced at Setforge on high capacity presses by hot forging, warm forging, by electro upsetting or by cold forging on horizontal and vertical presses. Additional pre-machining and complete machining services are also offered in our companies or through one of the group's highly qualified suppliers.

Each of the parts we produce is optimized as much as possible by our engineering teams in order to meet the market's demands for innovation, particularly for new hybrid and electric engines, in terms of weight / performance ratio.
